ABSTRACT:
The rapid growth of smartphone technology and wireless communication has significantly influenced the development of low-cost and intelligent robotic systems. This paper presents the design and implementation of an Android-based Bluetooth-controlled robotic car using an Arduino UNO microcontroller. The proposed system enables users to control the movement of a robotic car wirelessly through an Android application via Bluetooth communication. The system employs an HC-05 Bluetooth module for data transmission, an L293D motor driver shield for motor control, and DC motors for vehicle movement. Commands such as forward, backward, left, right, stop, and 360-degree rotation are transmitted from a smartphone to the robot. The design emphasizes simplicity, affordability, and ease of implementation, making it suitable for educational, surveillance, and IoT-based applications. Experimental results demonstrate reliable performance and effective wireless control within a short-range communication environment.
