ABSTRACT:
Solar water pumping systems represent a sustainable and economically viable solution for water supply in remote areas where grid electricity is unavailable or unreliable. This paper presents a comprehensive study on the design, fabrication, and performance evaluation of a solar-powered water pumping system. The research focuses on optimizing system components including photovoltaic panels, motor-pump units, and control systems to achieve maximum efficiency and reliability. Experimental results demonstrate that the fabricated system can deliver water at a rate of 2000-3000 liters per day under average solar irradiation conditions, making it suitable for agricultural irrigation and domestic water supply applications in rural areas.
