ABSTRACT:
Housing is one of the basic needs of human beings. Proper planning, design, and estimation of residential buildings ensure safety, comfort, and economy. A two room set building is commonly adopted for small families due to its simple layout and cost effectiveness. This paper presents the design and estimation of a two room set residential building, including planning considerations, basic design details, and approximate cost estimation. The study helps civil engineering students and practitioners understand the fundamentals of building planning and quantity estimation.
