ABSTRACT:
This project involves a design and development of an automated Ceiling Fan Cleaning System that will simplify the cleaning of wall and ceiling mounted fans. Traditional ways of cleaning fans are usually risky, time consuming, and ineffective especially when dealing with high ceilings. The system proposed has effectively and efficiently provided a safe and user friendly solution by having an Arduino controlled system with rotating brushes and flexible cleaning arm. The system automatically eliminates dust and debris and a suction unit avoids airborne dust. The paper will address the methodology, mechanical design, principle of work, and findings of the prototype made.
